Full Feature List
Everything SipLive SBC includes out of the box — no add-ons, no modules to buy.
Features marked PRO require a Professional license.
All other features are included in the free Community tier.
Core SBC Engine
- Asterisk 20 PJSIP B2BUA with full SIP signaling normalization
- STIR/SHAKEN call attestation (A/B/C) — compiled from source, not an add-on
- Configurable response policy per scenario (blocked route, unroutable, trunk down, capacity exhausted, outside time window)
- SIP UDP / TCP / TLS (port 5060/5061) with per-transport PJSIP binds
- RTP media proxy with configurable port range
Dashboard
- Operator Action Queue — intelligent priority checklist driven by apply state, HA health, capacity, maintenance windows, and backups
- Live metrics: Asterisk status, active call count, registered trunks, enabled trunks, enabled routes
- Active-Active Cluster health panel: cluster mode, serving node count, cluster-wide call totals PRO
- Recent SIP/Asterisk warning log
- Operator Command Center: one-click shortcuts to provisioning, apply, trunk health, route policy
Trunk Management (SIP NAPs)
- Full CRUD for SIP trunks (Network Access Points)
- Per-trunk registration monitoring and health dashboard
- Carrier templates — pre-built trunk profiles for rapid onboarding of common carriers PRO
- Per-trunk capacity guardrails (max concurrent calls, DID limits)
Route Management
- Dial plan routing policy with priority ordering
- Route simulator — test any E.164 number against live policy and see exactly which trunk wins and why
- Time-based routing with reusable named time window definitions (business hours, after-hours, holidays)
- Per-route capacity guardrails and maintenance overrides
DID Management
- Full DID inventory with assignment tracking
- E.164 normalization
- SipLive platform DID sync (optional)
Endpoint Provisioning Wizard & Media Profiles
- Guided multi-step workflow: NAP → DIDs → HMR → Route in a single flow
- Auto-generates a deployment runbook per endpoint
- Reusable media profiles — codec and RTP parameter sets assignable per trunk
- Hot Media Redundancy (HMR) — configurable media failover rule sets per trunk group
Fraud Detection
- Destination fraud rules with configurable blocking actions
CDR & Reporting
- Call Detail Record viewer with date/number/trunk filtering
- CSV export
- API endpoints: call volume, failed calls, trunk usage summaries
- ClearIP STIR/SHAKEN analytics integration PRO
Diagnostics
- System health dashboard (service status, disk, CPU, RAM)
- Live SIP packet capture (pcap download, tshark-based)
- RTP quality metrics
- Automated test plan generator with export
- One-click diagnostic bundle (logs + config snapshot)
Backup & Recovery
- On-demand and scheduled local backups
- S3-compatible cloud backup (AWS S3, Wasabi, MinIO, Backblaze B2)
- Configurable retention policy
- One-click restore from local or S3
Configuration Apply System (Change Control)
- Staged apply model — changes accumulate in the database and are previewed before being pushed to Asterisk
- Per-node diff view showing exactly what will change on each SBC
- Scheduled applies — queue a config push for a future date/time
- Apply history and one-click rollback to any previous state
- Config versioning with approve/reject workflow (CI/CD pipeline integration via API)
- Apply readiness check before commit (validates cluster state, trunk health)
High Availability / Active-Active Clustering PRO
- Multi-node active-active cluster with MariaDB master-master binary-log replication (server IDs 1/2, auto-increment offsets — no Galera dependency)
- WireGuard encrypted inter-node tunnel for both MariaDB replication traffic and the peer control channel — only UDP 51820 needs to be exposed
- Live WireGuard tunnel status on the HA page: handshake age, bytes transferred, 15-second auto-refresh
- Portal-provisioned WireGuard keys with shared PSK distributed automatically on check-in
- Per-node management: enable, disable, maintenance mode, graceful call drain (evacuation)
- Node-level config overrides — export/import supported
- Config drift detection across nodes
- HA replication start/stop/sync-to-peer/sync-from-peer — all GUI-driven, no SSH required
- DB replication configured via Settings → DB Replication using the
sbc-configure-replicationhelper
Security & Access Control
- Role-based access control with fully customizable permission sets
- Multi-user support with per-user role assignment
- Full immutable audit log of every UI and API action
- Scoped API tokens (separate read/write grants per functional area)
- Session timeout enforcement
- Rate-limited login with CSRF protection
REST API
- Full read/write REST API covering all subsystems (ops, CDR, diagnostics, backups, security, audit)
- Scoped bearer tokens with separate read/write grants per area
- Apply queue, rollback, config versioning — all API-accessible for automation/CI integration
- Route simulator batch endpoint
SOAP API PRO
- SOAP/WSDL endpoint for legacy carrier system integration
First-Login Setup Wizard
- 7-step guided wizard launches automatically on first admin login to a fresh install — existing installs are automatically exempted on upgrade
- Step 1 — Network & Node Identity: confirm node ID, management IP, SIP IP, and web URL; writes static OS network config
- Step 2 — Firewall: add web/SSH whitelist IPs and optionally enable access restriction
- Step 3 — Admin Password: forced password change on first login
- Step 4 — Activation & Account: activate device license and optionally link to a SipLive portal account
- Step 5 — TLS Certificate: request a Let's Encrypt certificate from the GUI
- Step 6 — SIP TLS: enable Asterisk SIP TLS on port 5061
- Step 7 — Apply: dispatches the initial config apply and marks setup complete
Device Activation & Licensing
- Each appliance self-registers with the SipLive licensing server on first boot
- Issues a unique 64-character license GUID per device
- Daily check-in with 7-day grace period for connectivity interruptions
- Remote suspend/reinstate/revoke from the admin portal
